Project: Security

A good security posture is a must for all Visma products and in order to accelerate the adoption of the best practices in the field, the Security Team is designing and offering their security program in the form of “Security as an App”. 

The reason to join us? We are a cross-functional team of engineers that develop well-crafted security software using Angular and .NET Core frameworks. We speak cloud - and Azure is our language. The environment is Agile and we focus on building high-quality, secure and innovative SaaS services. More than that, we are a bunch of friendly individuals that have created a culture in which we always help and support each other.

Automation is the future and we are building it here. Our application facilitates security processes and gives them a modern feeling.

The Visma group consists of over 200 software independent companies across more than 20 countries worldwide with over 14,000 employees. Having this entropy, security is critical for Visma. The Security Team has the role to oversee this diverse mix of companies, to maintain the highest security standards and defend against targeted attacks across all Visma products.

Skill Set: 

• Continuous learner passionate about automation and testing practices. Critical thinking and a “break the app” mindset (both manual and with scripts) is something we are looking for.

• Experience of designing and developing automation scripts (Cypress, Selenium, Postman..)

• Good knowledge in setting up a testing environment from scratch and solid CI/CD experience

• Load/Performance testing know-how

• Nice to have:

  • Security testing experience

  • Experience with Application Security

  • Experience with cloud systems and cloud suppliers (Azure)

  • Basic Docker knowledge

  • Experience with testing applications that are built as microservices

  • Experience with testing applications developed with .NET Core and Angular

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the testing strategy using relevant testing methods to ensure software products meet established quality standards.

• Be responsible for developing and managing automated testing processes, including test scripts and automation tools, and their pipelines.

• Conduct functional and performance testing: You will be responsible for performing functional and performance testing, identifying defects, and tracking them through to resolution.

• Work with tools like Cypress, Postman and JMeter;

• Support the team and help in driving the technical vision and strategy in collaboration with the team, turning it into reality;

• Collaborating inside a cross-functional team, including developers, service owner, business analysts and infrastructure engineers, to ensure that products meet the required needs.

• Provide feedback to both web developers and product manager to improve new features and capabilities within the product;

• Continuously work to incorporate automated tests into our deployment process;

• Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle;
