The job
As a Product Line Manager in the Verticals, Mobile & Fintech (VMF) organisation, you will have the opportunity to lead a diverse group of highly specialised individuals and make a real impact on our customers' businesses. You will be responsible for overseeing multiple product managers and their teams, coaching them towards a larger strategic goal, and setting new standards of excellence in product management and leadership.

Your role will be crucial in ensuring a thriving and flourishing culture where everyone can succeed. You will work closely with the Director and Head of Development in VMF, have a direct impact on large investments, and own the commercial success of your product portfolio.

As the Product Line Manager, you will join the VMF management team, which includes a Director, Head of Development, and yourself. You will also collaborate closely with other Product Line Managers and the Engineering team. You will be responsible for managing a team of 6 individuals, including 3 product managers, 2 business analysts, and 1 data analyst.

Your profile
We are looking for a leader with a deep interest in product management and leadership, and a proven track record of developing and managing high-performing teams with empathy. The ideal candidate will have experience working with distributed teams and strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Bonus points for:

• Having worked with partnerships - both direct strategic partnerships and/or on a programme level

• General knowledge of APIs as most of our offerings a built with partners

In Verticals, Mobile & Fintech (VMF) we are 30 highly motivated colleagues, organised into four product teams: Verticals/Ecosystem,two teams specialized in financial services, and Mobile. Each team is equipped with a dedicated engineering manager, quality assurance specialists, and a product manager, and may also include UX designers, data analysts, and other professionals as needed to ensure that all aspects of bringing delightful products for our customers and the business..

We are responsible for delivering vertical and partner-facing solutions with numerous integrations, both in the form of an app store and as part of our web application. Our mobile offerings, available for Android and iOS, have over 45,000 monthly active users and our financial services, such as Smart Pay and bank integrations, are used by thousands of customers. Our focus is on leveraging APIs, both public and internal, to bring value to our customers and e-conomic. With 180,000 businesses utilising our service daily and thousands relying on our financial services, mobile offerings, and public API, we are strong proponents of utilising ecosystems to drive value.
